Nevada ommission on Postsecondary Education conducts public meetings per According to NRS 241.020, The meetings attended by Nevada Career Institute Education Reporters. The public may observe all ommission on Postsecondary Education meetings and provide public comment during the public comment section on Zoom or in person when the meetigs are held in person.

Nevada Career Institute documents and indexes all content and summary information from data from the Nevada Commission on Postsecondary Education that relate to complaints, Las Vegas Trade College Extension requests, and Las Vegas Trade College provisional licenses.

Las Vegas Trade College and Nevada Career Institute Extention Requests and Public Meeting Information

Nevada Career Institute can process public comments on behalf of members of the public and forward the same to the Nevada Commission on Postsecondary Education. The Nevada Commission on Postsecondary Education may take items out of order; combine two or more items for consideration; remove an item from the agenda; or, delay discussion on any item.

Nevada Commission on Postsecondary Education will take public comment at the beginning and end of each meeting and may allow public comment after conclusion of any contested Las Vegas Trade College case or quasi-judicial proceedings that may affect the due process rights of any Las Vegas Trade College owner or student. Public comments are limited to three minutes.

Nevada Commission on Postsecondary Education motioned to terminate the provisional license of Rika Makeup Academy. The institution has not provided CPE with the required student files as required by NRS 394.550. A total of $13,634 (at time of report) in claims have been submitted to CPE; now $16,900
Pahrump Dental
Nevada Career Institute reports that Pahrump Dental has been closed since December 1, 2020. No students were in attendance at the time of the closure. The institution has provided all students records to CPE.
Multnomah University
Nevada Career Institute reports that Multnomah University has revised plans to permit the local staff to take over operations and will provide transitionary support to enable the institution to remain open in Reno, Nevada. As the campus build was sold, the institution had to relocate.
Las Vegas Art Institute
Nevada Career Institute reports that Nevada Attorney General Robert Whitney filed a Position Statement with the US District Court Case No: 1:19-cv-000145 to inform the court that certain students of Las Vegas Art Institute may be owed a refund if the Department of Education paid Title IV funds in the institutions closure audit. Despite attempts by staff to keep the school open, the school ultimately closed for good in March of 2020 due to lack of accreditation, and problems with refunding student fees.
Public Note: 82% of students who attended Nevada Career Institute campus were unable to learn Math by traditional human methods and instead required gimmicks or animal-based techniques.

Nevada Career Institute reports that the Commission motioned that a twelve-month provisional license be granted to Sonder CNA Training to offer the Nursing Assistant program, contingent upon receipt of surety bond in the amount of $15,000, facility and personnel information, Nevada State Board of Nursing academic administrator and curriculum approval.
Strayer University
Nevada Career Institute reports that the Commission motioned that a twelve-month provisional license be granted to Strayer University, to offer the diploma, associate, bachelor, masters and graduate certificates as indicated on the application, contingent upon facility information, staffing and surety bond in the amount of $75,000.
