Nevada Career Institute Reports: Wages in Las Vegas-Henderson-Paradise Regions
Workers in the Las Vegas-Henderson-Paradise, NV Metropolitan Statistical Area had an average (mean) hourly wage of $22.43 in May 2019, about 13 percent below the nationwide average of $25.72, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reported. Assistant Commissioner for Regional Operations Richard Holden noted that, after testing for statistical significance, wages in the local area were higher than their respective national averages in 6 of the 22 major occupational groups, including healthcare practitioners and technical, community and social service, and building and grounds cleaning and maintenance.
